If you are anything like us, you have realized that being alone in an office day in and day out is not for you.
Maybe you’re craving regular consultation and you’re not getting it because there’s nobody around. Maybe you’re just wanting a community of therapists who understand on a visceral level what you’re going through. Maybe you want to have more fun at work. Yes, you heard us: fun! Being a therapist doesn’t have to be all serious.
Second Street Collective members truly enjoy being with one another.
We have regular consultation groups, but we also just catch each other in the hallway or at lunch or via text to check in. There’s almost always a group of folks having lunch together, or taking a walk around downtown Campbell to blow off some steam. When you join SSC, you’re not just renting an office. You’re joining a community of people who care about one another. And it helps that our office is gorgeous and comfortable.
Therapists deserve care, just like our clients.
Things that are important to us:
We are more than just colleagues; we are friends who genuinely enjoy spending time together and care about each other's well-being. This deep familiarity allows us to make intelligent, informed referrals, ensuring each client is perfectly matched with the right therapist on our team. Beyond our collective, we also maintain a broad network of external therapists and specialized providers for referrals.
We work in an office that feels more like a living room. We have intentionally curated our space to help you and your clients feel calm and safe. From velvet couches to living plants to gourmet coffee and chocolate, we want you to feel at home. In between clients, put your feet up in our cozy library with a book and a cup of tea.
We formally meet twice a month to consult, learn from each other and get to know each other better. This group meets on Mondays and is Collective-led, meaning we take turns facilitating and discussing what is most pressing each time. Informally, we are also consulting one-on-one with each other everyday. In addition, we have an optional Second Street Collective Book Club, in which we read and discuss books that are relevant to our work.
At Second Street Collective, we don't just rent space to tenants. We are creating an intentional community of mental health providers who want to run their own businesses but don't want to be stuck in an office all alone.
We often do heavy work, helping people heal from traumas and let's face it, it can be hard to do without regular support.
To that end, we require folks to rent their office for a minimum of three days and pay a membership fee, to help offset the costs of having an office manager and community activities. Depending on office availability and your desires, you may be sharing an office with another therapist.
We welcome licensed therapists to be part of the collective. This is because you are required to run your own business. Second Street Collective does not employ therapists. If you are a supervisor, please inquire about how we will work with you to provide space for your associates.
Lease agreements are for one year, with the option to renew, as mutually agreed upon.
Our consultation group meets bi-weekly on Mondays 11am-12pm. While not required, this is an important part of being part of our community and we love it when everyone attends.
We want to run into you in the hallway, have an impromptu lunch with you, grab a coffee with you, discuss your cases and your life with you - all with the goal of you being able to do your best, most meaningful work. We spend a lot of time in our lives working. Let's make it delicious.
Please note, the owners and members of SSC do not receive any financial rewards for referring clients to one another. We just get a lot of satisfaction knowing that people who need quality mental health support are receiving it.
Here’s a list of some of the many perks you get when you become a member of Second Street Collective:
Client Care Coordinator services can be provided for an additional membership fee. This may include Simple Practice scheduling, client intake, communication for rescheduling/cancellations, and client arrival notification. Insurance billing is not available, as CCC is not a trained insurance biller.
We do not have an elevator. If you or your clients have mobility challenges, please inquire about leasing an office downstairs.
As with a therapist/client relationship, finding the right fit in your colleagues is equally important. Who do you want to spend your day-to-day with?
Once received, our Office Manager will contact you within two business days.
Our Office Manager will invite you to tour the building, show you the available offices, and discuss your needs.
All potential new members are required to meet with our current members. This is a way for all of us to get to know each other and make sure it’s a great fit for all.
If you are invited to join, we will present you with a lease agreement or rental contract which outlines the details and legal stuff. Once that’s squared away, we will plan your move-in!
We can’t wait to welcome you!
Second Street Collective is located at 46 N 2ND ST, in the heart of downtown Campbell.
Our curated space is filled with cozy couches, fuzzy blankets, a huge library of books, and live green plants. We have a small dedicated parking lot, as well as plenty of free parking on the surrounding block. We have 10 individual offices and a large group room. In addition to an ample waiting area for your clients, we also have two large open areas that are great for workshops or other events.
Second Street Collective is not just office space—it’s an intentional community. Members experience daily connection, informal and formal consultation, shared meals, and genuine friendships. You’re joining a collective of therapists who support one another personally and professionally, not working in isolation behind closed doors.
SSC is a great fit for licensed therapists who run their own businesses, value collaboration, enjoy community, and want regular connection with colleagues. If you’re excited by shared consultation, meaningful relationships, and a calm, beautiful work environment, you’ll likely feel at home here.
Yes. All members must be licensed therapists because each provider runs their own independent practice. SSC does not employ therapists. If you are a supervisor interested in space for associates, you’re welcome to inquire about options.
Members are required to rent an office for a minimum of three days per week. This helps ensure that SSC remains an active, connected community rather than a drop-in workspace.
Depending on availability and your preferences, you may have your own office or share one with another therapist. Many offices are fully furnished, and any changes to furnishings are coordinated with the Office Manager.
While attendance at the bi-weekly consultation group (Mondays, 11am–12pm) is not mandatory, it’s a highly valued part of SSC membership. Consultation is central to our culture, and most members love attending to learn, connect, and support one another.
Membership includes utilities, WiFi, snacks and gourmet coffee, a therapists’ lounge, library, kitchen access, office supplies, weekly janitorial service, an Office & Facilities Manager, consultation groups, and community events like Fun Nights, Book Club, and the annual holiday party.
No. There are no financial incentives for referrals within SSC. Referrals are made thoughtfully and ethically, with the goal of matching clients to the therapist best suited for their needs.
Yes. Optional Client Care Coordinator services are available for an additional fee. These services may include scheduling, intake support, rescheduling, and client arrival notifications. Insurance billing is not included.
The process includes submitting an inquiry, touring the space, attending a consultation group with current members, and signing a one-year lease or rental agreement. This ensures a mutual fit before welcoming you into the community.
